Unless otherwise stated, deadlines are one week prior to the activity. Activities have maximum capacities, once reached, registration ends and wait lists are formed.
Register for the classes online. Cash or Check are the only forms of payment collected in the Ranger Station at Beaverdam Park.
Beaverdam Park Fall Programs
NIGHT FISHING AND NIGHT PADDLE
One Night Fishing events will occur on August 16th from 4pm to midnight and you must register at the Ranger Station $5 per person. One night paddling event will occur on September 6th from 7 to 9pm. $5 per person and must pre-register by the Wednesday before the event at the Ranger Station.
FALL CLEAN GLOUCESTER DAY
Clean Gloucester Day starts at YOUR Parks! Beaverdam Park will be hosting one team of volunteers and another team of volunteers will be at Gloucester Point Beach Park. Register online or at the Beaverdam Park Ranger Station and specify which park you would like to help clean up. This is a great opportunity to fulfill community service hours and to help beautify Gloucester County’s Parks. Join us October 12th, 2019 at 8:00am. Beaverdam Park: Activity number #50902-01. Welcome to the 30th anniversary of the Haunted Trail! Prepared to be scared!! Two nights of fright transforms the Nature Trail into a very creepy and terrifying place. Several bone chilling skits are set up along the 20 minute walk thru the woods! $10 per person for ages 13 and older $5 per person for ages 8 to 12. Children under 8 are not permitted. Loud noises, uneven surfaces and strobe lights will be on trail. Please wear sturdy footwear like hiking boots or sneakers. October 25th & October 26th from 7pm to 9:30pm with rain dates of November 1st & 2nd. All go in, most come out.
Introductory and Intermediate Archery program perfect for beginners thru advanced. We provide a safe and fun environment for youth and adults to learn a new sport. The Archery course is taught by USA Archery certified instructors. The courses are designed to be fun and informative while learning the proper skills required to shoot a bow. All equipment is provided. Please do not bring your own bow. Youth program for ages 10-18. Adult program is for 18 and up. Space is limited to 10 Archers. Beginner Youth program goes from 2-3:30pm, $15 per session. Second and Fourth Sundays September thru November 10th. Activity Numbers #50102-01 thru #50102-05. Intermediate Youth Program will be on September 8th, October 13th and November 10th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Activity Numbers# 50102-12 thru #50102-14. Adult program will be on September 22nd and October 27th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Activity Number# 50102-07 & 08. Deadline to register is the Wednesday before the session.
SENIOR GAME DAY
Grab a friend and your favorite game to join other seniors for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. Bring a snack to share if you’d like. Age 60+. Meet at Whitcomb Lodge. Call the Ranger Station for dates, often the last Thursday of the month. 2pm – 4pm. Free program and No registration is required. Just call your friends and meet up at the Lodge. October 31st we will have a fun festive game day. Wear a costume and bring a treat to share.
WOMENS SELF DEFENSE WORKSHOP
Join us on August 30th and November 15th in the Whitcomb Lodge at Beaverdam Park for exciting women's personal protection and self defense classes. Learn effective techniques that you can use right away to keep yourself safe. Ages 16 and up. Classes will build on one another but you may attend a single class. Dress comfortably or in workout attire and come to have fun! 6:30pm to 8:30pm. $10 per person per class. Activity Numbers: 50901:08/09. Deadline to register is the Friday before each class.
FALL BIRDING PADDLE
Join Beaverdam bird enthusiasts for an early morning guided paddle tour observing the many species of migratory water fowl as they journey to their winter range. This program is $10 and includes your two-hour kayak rental or your daily launch pass if you bring your own kayak. Bring your camera and binoculars if you have them and feel free to bring bird identification material as well. It may be cool so dress weather appropriate. Limited to 10 participants. Ages 10 and up. November 16th, 2019. 7am-9am. Activity Number 50602:01 Deadline to register November 6th, 2019.
Join us September 6th, 2019 for another night under the stars at Beaverdam Park's "Youth Lock-Out"! There will be games, social time, sunset fishing, a night hike and more at this after hours exclusive experience. Please bring a water bottle and flashlight. Pizza will be provided. $15 per kid. Ages 11-15. 6p-10pm. 20 participant maximum. Meet at Whitcomb Lodge. Registration Number #50904:08. Deadline to register August 30th , 2019.
Join our Beaverdam Birders for an evening of calling, listening and learning about owls. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight and wear appropriate footwear as the group will be walking the trails at night. Bring your binoculars and camera if you have one. Registration is required. Must be 10 or older. Space is limited. Deadline is one week before program date.

LETS CELEBRATE THANKS & GIVING
Join Beaverdam Park in being thankful! During the month of November stop by the Ranger Station and donate a nonperishable food item. You will receive a card to write what you are thankful for and we will display them around the park. All the food will be donated to Bread for Life Food Pantry and will help people in our local community.
