Citizen Use of the Gloucester Connection Email News Service: 

This Internet web site feature provides an interactive way for Gloucester citizens and the general public to find out what is going on in our local government.  It is part of the new concept called “Gloucester Connection”.  Gloucester Connection is an Internet resource for Gloucester citizens and the world to find out what resources, events, meetings, dead-lines, new policies, RFP’s, volunteer needs, classes, employment opportunities, etc. are available.  This concept is divided into two parts: 

• The first part is an Index Web Page with links to resource information on our web site (http://www.gloucesterva.info/gloucesterconnection.htm). 

• The second part is an Email News Service (LISTSRV - http://www.gloucesterva.info/GloucesterConnectionDB/).  The email news service subscription is voluntary and can be discontinued at any time.

Here is how the email news service works:

1.   The citizen will access the Gloucester Connection Email News Service web page from Gloucester County’s home page (http://www.gloucesterva.info) and then click the “Gloucester Connection” link.

2.      After selecting the link “Gloucester County Email News Service”, click subscribe, enter your email address and select one or more email news groups.

3.      Click “Submit”.  You will receive a message that you have joined the Gloucester Connection Email News Service and instructions on how to be removed from the service.  If you are using a SPAM filter software, please make sure that you add the email address of "gloucester_connection@gloucesterva.info" to the approved senders list.
