Exemptions-
Some real estate is exempt from taxation. The
Constitution of Virginia and the Code of Virginia
control these exemptions. Certain persons who are 65
years old or permanently disabled may have real
estate taxes on their home in Gloucester County
exempted. Information on the Real Estate Tax Relief
program may be directed to the Commissioner of
Revenue's Office by calling 804-693-3451 or by
writing or visiting the office which is located in
