Gloucester's Clean Community Program

Gloucester County's Clean Community Program promotes litter prevention, effective beautification, waste management and recycling strategies, and acts in an advisory capacity to the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors on matters affecting the quality of the local environment. The program is supported by hundreds of volunteers with community pride who work to help keep Gloucester beautiful, clean, and litter free.

How to Dispose of CFL Bulbs
The Home Depot in Gloucester now has an in-store consumer compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb recycling program. Customers can bring in any expired, unbroken CFL bulbs and give them to an associate at the returns desk for proper disposal.

Gloucester County is proud to be a certified Keep America Beautiful Affiliate.

Gloucester is also a proud member of HR Clean, a regional coalition of local and regional clean community, recycling, and environmental education coordinators who promote litter prevention, recycling, community beautification, and general environmental awareness through educational projects designed to reach all sectors of our communities.
