Recycling
Gloucester
county residents and businesses are encouraged to recycle and every
little bit that is recycled helps! In 2007, 30.3% of the county's waste
was diverted from the landfill through business recycling efforts.
State-wide, Virginian's recycled more than 3.6 million tons of material
in 2007. Please join in these efforts by recycling at your home and/or business.
Items for recycling must be
taken to and are accepted at each of the
Convenience Centers in
Gloucester County. Please rinse all glass and plastic containers,
and be sure that paper is dry and free of grease and debris.
