The Grand Jury

 The Grand Jury convenes once every two months* to determine whether indictments should be certified as true bills and therefore tried in the Circuit Court. Docket call, where pending cases are set for trial, is also held every two months.

 *First Monday: Jan., Mar., May., July., Sept., and Nov. If the first Monday is a legal holiday, the Grand Jury meets the next working day.
