As a result of the change in administration of the stormwater
permitting from the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to the
Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) there have been
impacts that affect development on a larger scale. (See news

significant aspect is that all activities greater than 2,500 square
feet will require a stormwater permit issued through the Department of
Conservation and Recreation. Information and documents associated

Stormwater permits require the completion of a Stormwater Pollution
Prevention Plan (SWPPP); reference italicized portion of Registration
