Samantha Boyd
Age 14, Grade 9
I am in 9th grade  and play basketball.  I like hanging out with my friends and going to church at Petsworth Baptist.  My family, friends, and the Youth Commission are important to me.  I love music and am involved with the chorus at GHS.

Lisetta Brandy
Age 15, Grade
10
I am involved in the color guard and like to read and sing.  I enjoy the fall because of the colors.  I enjoy ice skating and I am looking forward to turning 16 in November.

Britni Edwards

I like to hangout with my friends, like nature and I like tennis.  Grace Bible Church Youth Group, basketball, tennis and cheerleading are the activities I hope to be involved with.  My friends and family are very important to me.

I do many activities including co-captain of the GHS Color Guard Team, President of S.A.D.D., Beta and N.H.S., Select Ensemble and the drama club.  I go to Lighthouse Worship Center.  I am going to a bible college to study Christian Counseling and Christian Vocal Performance.  My family, friends and faith are very important to me.

I am in NJHS and sing in Passport Singers at Peasley Middle School.  I play basketball for Parks & Recreation and baseball for GYB.  I am a member of Union Baptist Church and participate in their Youth Group.  I live the golden rule to treat others how you'd like to be treated.  My family is very important to me.

I enjoy making jewelry and love spending time with my family.  I am an active member of my church.  This summer I am going on a mission trip to Russia.  After graduation, I am looking forward to the road of college.

I am senior class president, co-editor and chief of the GHS newspaper, NHS, and Beta.  I am also on the gifted advisory program.  I love my job at Short Lane Ice Cream and like to hand out with my friends.  I also like to read.  I want to go to William and Mary or UVA.  I like a variety of music.  My family and friends are very important to me.  My career choice would be a lawyer or a journalist.  The newspaper is my favorite activity.

I like to read, talk, and to write poetry.  I am involved in the television production club, spanish club, and I previously volunteered at Petsworth Elementary School, and hope to do it again.  My friends and family are very important to me.

I like computers and am involved in the NJHS.  Science is my favorite subject.  I've been playing piano since first grade and my favorite color is blue.

Travis Worrell

I would like to work on violence prevention.  I am involved in the Spanish club, the Junior Class, Beta, and NHS.  I like science.  I lay the saxophone and want to go to the Air Force Academy.

Mason Hargrave, Jr.
 
I'm from Cleveland, Ohio, and a diehard Cleveland sports fan. I love music ... jazz, hip hop, gospel, and r&b.  I'm a saved  drug addict and alcoholic with 17 years in sobriety on December 3, 2003, God willing.  I love working with the youth.  I teach kickboxing at Riverside Fitness center.  I also chair the substance abuse coalition "4 REAL" (resilient education assertive learning).
Christi A. Lewis
I love working with the commission and hearing all the great ideas the young people have for bettering our community.  I enjoy boating & fishing, reading a good book in the sun and long walks on the beach.  My family, friends and new puppy "Abby" are very important to me.
