Adult Beginner
Guitar - Guitar01 -
Learn the basics of guitar
playing in a fun, group environment. We will learn how to strum
chords, play songs, and read music. No previous musical
experience is necessary. Participants to provide their own
acoustic guitar.
Additional $6.50 charge for Method Book. Tuesdays,
October 16 - December 4, 7 - 8:30 p.m., Gloucester High School.

Advanced Video Production - VID02 - This course will
bring students to the next level of video production. They will
learn fine tuning video techniques to help enhance their home
video production. Screening, class exercises and projects will
be the integral parts of this course. Tuesdays,

Minimum of 8 participants needed

Basic Word/Keyboard - WORD01 - This
course provides a basic understanding of Microsoft Word and
keyboarding basics. Course objective is to introduce
students to beginner level keyboarding and Microsoft Word to
including the creation, edit, save and print of documents.

Basic Internet -INT01 - Come and
learn about the World Wide Web! In this beginning course, we
will learn how to navigate our way through this newly emerging
global environment in which we live. We will discuss various
ways to connect to the web, web terminology and much more.
Learn how to locate information on the web, “surf”, shop and
more! Thursdays, October 18 - December 13, 7 - 8:30 p.m., Petsworth Elementary School.

Beginning Beadwork
- BEAD01 - In this class you will learn
the basics of bead stringing as well as an
introduction to bead weaving. You will learn how to
design a bracelet and necklace on soft flex
wire. Learn to make earrings in several styles and
how to construct multi-strand necklaces and
bracelets. You will learn color, placement and
styles of beads and bead components. As a final
project we will make a Holiday bracelet using needle
and thread, your introduction to bead weaving.
Mondays, October 15 - December 3, 7 - 9:00 p.m.,
T.C. Walker Elementary School. Maximum of 8

Intermediate Beadwork -
BEAD02 - In this class you will
learn how to combine wire stringing with bead
weaving techniques. Learn two basic beadweaving
stitches as well as many variations of
these stitches. You will learn how to embellish your
jewelry designs and learn various closure methods.
Wednesdays, October 17 - December 5, 7 - 9:00
p.m., T.C. Walker Elementary School. Minimum
of 8 participants needed for class. Cost $35.

Spanish for Beginners - SP01 - Interested in learning
some Spanish lingo? Maybe you are going on vacation to a
Spanish speaking country or you have a neighbor or friend who
speaks Spanish and you’d like to converse with them. Have you
always wanted to speak another language but were too afraid to
try? Well fear no more! Come listen and learn first hand what
speaking Spanish sounds like. It’s as easy as uno, dos, trez! We
will go over greetings, numbers, days of the week, months of the
year, colors, seasons, and conversational phrases. Asta la

Woodworking for Beginners - WOOD01-
This class teaches basic woodworking skills and the safe use of
shop equipment. A project will be created from start to finish
and participants should have a project in mind. There will be
an additional materials fee. The maximum
number of participants is 15.
