Parks, Recreation & Tourism is currently looking for:

  • Specialty instructors to teach arts & crafts, cooking, exercise, hobby, music, etc. classes.  If you are interested please email our Recreation Supervisor or call 804-693-1270.
  • Site supervisors for athletic programs such as Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Teeball and special events are always needed.  If you are interested please email our Athletic Supervisor or call 804-693-1262.

Parks, Recreation & Tourism always needs volunteers for:

  • coaching and officiating youth sports.  If you are interested in more information contact Athletic Supervisor or call 693-1262. 
  • park projects are also needed.  If you are interested contact Park Ranger or call 804-693-2107.
  • special events such as the Daffodil Festival or Haunted Trail. If you are interested contact Special Events Supervisor or call 693-1264.
  • helping us to welcome folks to Gloucester!  The Gloucester Visitor's Center has moved into the Roane Building on the historic Courtcircle.  Volunteers keep the center open from 1 to 4 pm on Sundays and 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Saturday.  Join us as we say Welcome to Gloucester.  Training provided  If you are interested contact Tourism Coordinator or call 804-693-0014.
