In October, Beaverdam hosted the "Big Bash Classic" a fish-off between the
areas 18 top fisherman. Most teams caught their limit of 5 fish. Also
Gloucester's John Permelia & Todd Taylor were awarded the "Angler of the
Year" award for having the highest accumulated weight during the five
tournament series. John & Todd weighed 60 pounds of Bass during the series.
2006 Big Bash Classic Results:
$1000 First Place, James Williams & Gene North, Hampton with 12.4
lbs.
$400 Second Place, John Permelia & Todd Taylor, Gloucester with 11.65 lbs.
$300 Third Place, Kenny & Justin Breaud, Gloucester with 11.40 lbs.
Big Fish Award James Williams & Gene North, Hampton with a 6.35 lb. Bass.
