Brown Recreational Park was officially opened.

Photos: Left from the
summer of 2004 (below) from February 2005. The heavy undergrowth of the
road frontage has been cleared to open the park.
This undeveloped land was donated to the county by the
Middle Peninsula Relief Society. The beautiful 20 acre site, with
creek view, will be developed by volunteers.

Current plans for this active park include 3 fields, a playground,
picnic area and trails. Check back soon to see our progress. Lots of elbow grease will be
needed to complete this park! VOLUNTEERS are needed, if you are interested in
