Housing Choice Voucher Applications

August 24, 2006 was the last time our office gave out applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program.   If you applied and successfully sent in your application by the due date and sent  in your residency requirement on time, you will receive a letter stating you were put on the waiting list. 

If you did not, your application will not go on the waiting list.   You may check the Virginia Housing Development Authorities website to see some of the offices that handle Section 8 that may have their waiting list open.   Refer to the links page.

      Click on the newspapers to view their web pages.   We also advertise in the Rappahannock Times but they do not have a website yet.  Two local radio stations do advertise when we are taking applications.  They are WXGM in Gloucester and WMDJ in Middlex County.

     Tidewater Review covers mostly West Point, King William, New Kent, and King & Queen counties.

     Southside Sentinel serves Middlesex  County and adjacent areas of the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

     Gloucester-Mathews Gazette Journal covers the areas for the Middle Peninsula.
