     The purpose of the Housing Advisory Board is to examine existing housing needs.  The Board evaluates existing housing programs offered on the State and Federal level to achieve solutions to housing problems confronting Gloucester County.  The Housing Advisory Board will also review new and upcoming housing programs for possible State and Federally assisted grants to aid the County in solving housing needs.

 

     The current board is appointed by the Board of Supervisors.  There is one member from each magisterial district, one member appointed by each At-large Board of Supervisors, one member from the Board of         Supervisors, President or member of  the Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex Association of Realtors, a member of the Gloucester Youth Commission, a member from the Gloucester Resources Council, and the Director from Gloucester County Department of Housing.  Meetings are held every other month.
