As Director for the Department of Housing, Michael Shifflett has been working with the Section 8 program for 25+ years. If you have a property that a client wishes to rent, he will inspect the unit to make sure it passes the Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspection for our program. Karen Dame is the Housing Eligibility Worker, and has been with the Section 8 program since 1999. She determines if clients are eligible for the Section 8 program.
