Welcome to the Technical & Support Services Division of the Gloucester Sheriff's Office.
The Technical & Support Services Division Captain is William ( Bill ) Adams, and has three sworn officers and one civilian person assigned.
The Technical & Support Services Division is responsible for the operation and management of all communications-computer systems, system programs / projects, networking, software, hardware service, mobile patrol units, wireless data operations, law enforcement and jail operations software, Computer Aided Dispatch, E-911 interfacing, Virginia Criminal Information Network & National Criminal Information Network interfacing, IBRS (Incident Based Reporting System), web page design, personnel testing & hiring, background investigations, promotional testing, & fleet management, and all property / equipment operations.
