A Walk Through Historic Gloucester
The
Courthouse Circle in Gloucester’s Historic District represents one of
the most architecturally sophisticated of Virginia’s colonial courthouses,
as well as a colonial jail and debtors’ prison. Please stop by and see us
at our newly opened Visitor Center in the Clayton Building.
The Gloucester Museum of History, once a colonial tavern, offers
tours and historic exhibits which change regularly. Call the Museum at
804-693-1234 for current exhibit information.
