Yes. We currently accept American Express, MasterCard,
Discover, and VISA. Credit card payments are only accepted via
telephone or the internet.

What are the current tax rates?
Personal property is
assessed at 100% of average retail value.
The tax rate for
calendar year 2008 is $2.60 per $100.00 of assessed value, except for
mobile homes, which are taxed at the same rate as real estate. Boats are
taxed at the rate of $1.00 per $100.00 of assessed value.
The 2008 real estate tax
rate is $0.61 per $100.00 of assessed value.
All real estate is
assigned an assessed value by the
County Real Estate Tax Assessor. Real estate is
assessed at 100% of market value.
When is the last day
that I can pay my taxes to avoid penalties?
Personal
Property Taxes and Real Estate Taxes are due June 30th and December
5th. Payments must be postmarked no later than these dates to avoid
the assessment of penalty and interest.

When are dog tags due?
All dogs owned by
residents of Gloucester, including military personnel, must be licensed
each year by January 31st.

As of
January 1, 2006, Gloucester County no longer requires residents to
purchase a vehicle decal.

Enclose a
self-addressed, stamped envelope with your payment and we will send
you a receipt.
