Colonial Courthouse Village Enhancement Project

Phase V is in the planning stages. A design contract was awarded to Massey Design and Associates, P.C., which has completed considerable preliminary work in developing plans for the enhancements. All are invited to a public meeting on October 22, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the Colonial Courthouse for an opportunity to view preliminary drawings and to share ideas and concerns with County Staff and the design firm. Jail Expansion Project:
The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors placed this project on hold on January 2, 2008.

Radio Project: 
The work to add Gloucester County to the Regional York/James City County Regional Radio System is underway. Several new towers have been  constructed, and modifications to the Law Enforcement Building to house a temporary emergency communications center are nearly complete .
