Master Naturalists

The Virginia Master Naturalist Program is a statewide corps of trained volunteers providing education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities. Master naturalist volunteers are dedicated to providing 40+ hours of service to their community each year, and keep current on environmental topics by completing at least 8 hours of advanced training each year.

Our local chapter, the Middle Peninsula Master Naturalists, volunteers with the Clean Community office for cleanup and greenup projects throughout Gloucester.
