   Day care is arranged so parents can work or train for employment. Within budgetary constraints, day care can be subsidized for families who qualify. The amount of subsidy is based on household income.

3. Energy, Fuel & Cooling Assistance

   This program provides funds to eligible households to offset the cost of home energy.

4. Medicaid

   Medicaid provides medical care for needy persons who have insufficient income to meet their medical needs.

5. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

   This program is designed to alleviate hunger and malnutrition by allowing low-income households to obtain a more nutritious diet.
