Engineering Services
Our Engineering Services Department staff is responsible for capital contract administration and management of projects. We provide professional engineering services and technical support for construction, renovation, and remodel projects on County properties as well as provide these same services to County Departments.
Our engineers assist with the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program by reviewing plans, managing home elevation projects, and serving on the County’s Hazard Mitigation Management Team. We provide solid waste management and contract administration related to the Middle Peninsula Landfill and Recycling Facility, perform post-closure care of the County’s closed landfill, and perform disaster solid waste management planning. We also administer the County’s emergency communications system radio contract.
