1. Where can I purchase a hunting or fishing license?

3. Who do I contact for hunter safety courses?

The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries sponsors hunter's and boater's safety classes.

• Visit the DGIF website. 

4. Where can I fish?

• For Fresh Water Fishing you can’t beat Beaverdam Park and it is the only public Fresh Water fishing on the Middle Peninsula.
• Fresh Water licenses are needed for anyone age 16 and older.
• There are jon boat and canoe/kayak rentals as well as two boat ramps available in the park.
• For Salt Water Fishing the pier at Gloucester Point Beach Park is the place to be.
