Katherine graduated from Longwood University in 2014 with her Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Minor in Criminal Justice. After her graduation from Longwood, and knowing she wanted to be a part of the legal profession, Katherine worked for the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Virginia Beach as a receptionist and moved on to work for a private criminal defense firm as a legal assistant. Knowing she wanted to become a lawyer, she began school at Liberty University School of Law. Upon her graduation from Liberty Law in 2019 she had completed two internships. The first with the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court as a Judicial Intern learning the ins and outs of the court system. The second with the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. While serving on the DUI team and the Second Precinct team in the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorney’s Office she was able to prosecute many felony and misdemeanor cases, allowing her to get invaluable experiences and ignite her passion for prosecution.
